We have a smartzone controller installed, but there is no smartzone-data plane appliance. Can we use oursmartzone controller as a DHCP server for wireless clients? Any supporting documents for configurations? As per my understanding we cannot achieve this (only option we have is to enable DHCP server on APs)

Hello allI have a pair of these switches working as a stack in a residential site, which have just been commissioned. They replace some L2+ switches by A.N.Other brand that were not suitable.Although these units are providing the functions we need, the cooling fans are extremely loud to the point of distraction to clients in the adjacent room.Although my PoE budget is only about 30% on each switch, fanless-mode-enable is apparently not compatible with this model. Is there a way to remedy this? Either hardware (replacement compatible fans) or software / CLI.

Hello everyone! In my company's network, there are some Ruckus APs as well as some Cisco APs and Cisco Switches. We found a device on the management page of our Cisco Switch that doesn't exist in the topology. Its IP address is 169.254.xx.xx. After packet capture with Wireshark, we found there are some MDNS packet sent by Ruckus APs with ip 169.254.xx.xx. Maybe that is related toBonjour Service (Once I disable the Bonjour Gateway, the phenomena above disappears)I wan to know why Ruckus APs would construct and send such an MDNS packet? That makes me confused and brings some trouble to our control and management of device accessing in the network. Can anyone help me with the above question? Many thanks!!!

Hello, I have an ICX-7150-48P running code version 08.0.95mT213.I noticed there are some options exclusive to the command line, namely the IP dhcp-server configuration. Is this intentional not to have something on the web browser? This is not a complaint, but an observation about switch behavior. Thanks,John

Hello Ruckus Community,I'm a backend developer working with a Ruckus RWG setup that involves an external splash page for user authentication. I need to ensure that when a subscriber logs in—whether via click or go, email, room number, or even through a payment process integrated with a PMS—they are authorized for access and added to the MAC authorization table.Unfortunately, I've been unable to locate any specific API documentation regarding adding, updating, or deleting a user by their MAC address, nor the expected responses from the gateway after such operations.Could anyone point me in the right direction using Curl or XML to authorize a subscriber and add them to the MAC authorization table? Any documentation or insights on handling these requests would be greatly appreciated.Thank you in advance for your help!
